I really want to get my hands on a Galaxy S5 from @SamsungMobileUS. I had a brief look at one at the Samsung store and it looked really impressive. Next to it was the new Gear Fit and Gear 2. Unfortunately the Gear Fit was not working at the time. On first look the Gear Fit seemed really light and perhaps a bit too delicate for the job of a fitness tracker, and without a working model it was hard to really get a good sense of what it could really do. The S5 itself was really nice. It has a good hand-feel and seemed to be really fast. The only issue I would have with it (again it was a demo model so not really able to use it properly) was the heartbeat monitor that was set in underneath the camera. Is that something that people wanted so badly that they had to put it on the camera? I get that it is on the Gear Fit, that makes sense, but on the phone itself? If anyone is looking for a new phone I would definately give this a good look. I am not due for a phone yet through my @telusmobility plan but if I was, this is what I would get.
